Kiwi sorbet

Kiwi fruit to make 3/4 pint (450 ml) puree. (4 or 5) A banana can also be included to make up the required quantity of puree, and it adds a nice flavour. 2oz (50 g) sugar.

These quantities are suitable for a Philips Delizia ice-cream maker; adjust to suit. Serves 3-4. Peel kiwi fruit and puree in a blender with sugar. Add a banana if wished or if needed to make up the correct quantity of puree. Add fruit gradually to ensure the correct amount. Do not over-blend as this will spoil the kiwi seeds. Freeze using ice-cream maker. If no ice-cream maker then freeze until almost set, take out of freezer and beat, and return to freezer.
